Happy Halloween!!! This is my favorite holiday. I LOVE Christmas and Thanksgiving but Halloween is such a FUN holiday!! I was a little let down because Ty wasn't into it this year, he claims he is too old for it. I begged him to at least go with us to trick or treat ( I wasn't expecting him to dress up) but he wanted NOTHING to do with it! So Hailey, Kaden & I left for our adventure. First we stopped at Dad & Barbs, then went around to some of their neighbors. Next stop Mom & Joes, none of their neighbors had their lights on so we didn't go around over there. We stopped by David's work to pick him up because he just happened to get back in town when we were in the area. Then we headed off to a
REALLY nice neighborhood with lots of houses, most of them with their lights on. We had beautiful weather so that made it even nicer. The kids did great & Kaden was sooooo excited & really into it this year. He was
running to the houses but after about an hour he got tired & as he was walking away from a house he said OK lets go home now! As we made our way back to the car we stopped at a few more houses. Then on the way home we stopped by Ty & Hailey's grandmas house & she had made
BIG goody bags for all 3 of the kids! So they made out pretty well & we all had a nice night aside from Ty not going with us.
Hailey was a Geisha Girl, 2 years ago my friend GiGi , who is from the Philippines, went home to see her parents. While she was there she bought this beautiful oriental outfit for Hailey. It was a little big so we put it away & it finally fit her this year so we used it for her costume....
we got some pretty chopstix for her hair & some oriental slippers. The fan actually belongs to one of my patients whose son married a girl from Japan & they send her oriental stuff all the time. She insisted that I borrow it for Hailey's costume.... it is really pretty
Kaden couldn't decide what he wanted to be. He was leaning towards an "army guy" costume but when we went to get it he saw this TMNT costume & picked it. So he was Raphael.
it was so cute, it told him to say "cowabunga dude" & he did...... to everyone!!

Love the costumes!!! I really like Halloween, too! It is just plain fun to get dressed up and get a little CRAZY!
