he is such a HOOT!!! these are just some of the funny things he says....
one day a while back kaden emptied his toy bucket & he had one of the metal rods from the bunkbeds. Standing in the bucket and moving the rod back and forth (like an oar) he starts singing "row row row your boat" only he has his own little version of it (just the way he remembers the words I guess). His words.....
"mary mary wash your boat gently in the stream, rowin rowin rowin rowin wash your grandmas jeans".
Kaden loves cream of wheat, I make it for him a couple times a week now. A couple of months ago he went through a phase where he wanted it all the time, not just for breakfast, he would ask me to make it for him in the middle of the day sometimes. The funny part of this story is the first time he asked me to make it he said mama can you make me some cream of roop? I could not for the life of me figure out what he was asking. Finally he went to the cupboard and showed me the box. Ah ha, cream of wheat. Now everytime he wants it we joke and call it "cream of roop" and then he giggles for a few minutes.
On Christmas morning when the kids were opening their gifts Kaden was so sweet. Everything he opened he was so excited about, even the clothes. As a tradition my mom always buys everyone a package of socks. When Kaden opened his socks he looked at them,made a funny face and tossed them to Ty. He says " here Ty these are yours".
Our cat Ona likes to tease Hank (our dog). he goes outside and walks just out of reach of Hank, or when Hank is in his cage in the house Ona will walk past and it drives hank nuts! He will bark at Ona and get all excited. Kaden always tells Hank "stop screaming at Ona, hank". It's funny that kaden interprets hanks barking as screaming.
One night Kaden was laying on our bed with Ona and he was doing the five little piggies on the cats paws. I thought it was cute and when he got to the middle one he says "this little piggie had roast beast". That is probably my doing, that is what we call roast beef (because of the grinch)
He is just full of silly stuff.....there will be more to come!
